I love spending time with my husband and 2 kids in the outdoors, hiking, mountain biking and paddleboarding on the beautiful mountain lakes in my home state of Montana. I also enjoy eating Thai food, impromptu dance parties with my kids, playing guitar, and hosting game nights.

What is your favorite kind of workout?

I love the way bodyweight exercises and yoga make me feel, especially on busy days I am stuck inside...but nothing beats a challenging workout in the outdoors like trail running or mountain biking!

What is your main focus?

As a dietitian, I help you improve your diet to meet your health goals. Whether it be sustainable weight loss, bulking, managing food intolerances, or overcoming food addictions, I'll help you learn which foods are best for your body to support better moods, sleep, and energy levels.

How did you get interested in health?

I began experimenting with food while participating in high school and college sports and noticed the difference in my performance when I was fueling properly. When I took my first in-depth nutrition class in college, I was hooked. I started learning how nutrients affected everything from clear skin to athletic performance and I have been obsessed with nutrition ever since!

What was one of the biggest health changes you’ve made?

Practicing mindfulness in daily life. Mindful eating, mindful exercise, and relaxation has helped me add value to my life and improve my health.

What do you think most people should do differently to be more healthy?

Food is the foundation for healthier living. Your body needs certain nutrients to help you think, sleep, move, and feel better. Once healthy eating becomes a priority, other areas of health come together more easily.
