What is your main focus?

I have been trying to solve how to be most productive lately, and how to balance a busy work schedule without sacrificing health.

How did you get interested in health?

I was at my last startup and realized my health was deteriorating despite going to the gym regularly. We had monitoring if our website went down for even a second, but nothing for my body.

A high cholesterol test and not passing the physical to start scuba diving were wake up calls. I was fortunate to catch those signals early, since many people can go decades without seeing what is happening.

What was one of the biggest health changes you’ve made?

Starting a ketogenic diet and fasting more often, usually skipping breakfast in favor of coffee, changed my daily routine and how productive I feel during the day.

What should most people do differently?

Pay closer attention to how food affects energy, hunger and blood glucose. Once you actually track it for a while, it becomes much easier to see what is helping and what is not worth it.

Outside Gyroscope?

When not working, I like running, scuba diving, traveling and sushi.

What is one book you recommend?

Shoe Dog by Phil Knight.
