Is this free?
Gyroscope has a free level, which includes mood tracking, meditation, and guides to improve your health. Some of our most popular features, especially the ones that require significant resources to power like Places or Health Score, require a membership.
How much does this cost?
We have a variety of plans, ranging from just $5 a month to start tracking your health in the app, to the higher Health Score plan which includes an AI health coach and human support to get set up. It costs about $20 a month, but gives you hundreds of dollars of health benefits.
If you don’t want to pay, you can install the app for free to get started with some of the essential features like mood, meditations and fasting!
What devices does it need?
Most of the Gyroscope features just need your phone. Your iPhone already has dozens of sensors, so we reuse them rather than have you buy new wearables. Your camera is used as an advanced food sensor, while GPS & wifi is used for places and steps.
The app itself will track most of your metrics like mood, cortisol, meditation, breathwork, nutrition, sleep, workouts and running.
Having more sensors and wearables will improve the experience and accuracy by providing heart rate, glucose and other measures. Some recommended devices are the Apple Watch, Oura ring, or a scale that checks bodyfat. Thousands of other apps and devices are also supported through the Apple Health integration, and you can also enter data directly in the app.
Can I trust you with my data?
Privacy and security is at the core of the Gyroscope experience. The whole company and business model is designed to ensure you have full control of your data & privacy. You can delete your data at any time, or control who sees it.
The only way we make money is through the subscriptions, and never by selling data. The only way we succeed is by making an app that truly works and keeps you healthy each day.
