Do I need an iPhone?

The Gyroscope app currently requires a modern iPhone. For members on Android, we recommend switching to iPhone on your next device upgrade cycle in order to start getting the best experience. We actually built an Android app once long ago, but the platform and sensors unfortunately did not meet the Gyroscope quality bar for providing the great experience our customers expect.

How does the money back guarantee work?

We want everyone to feel secure in signing up! We are confident that once you start using the app daily, you will see tremendous improvements in your life and never want to go back to the old way. What if I am in another country?

You can select the local price for your country in the iPhone app.

The prices on our website are listed in US dollars. For people in other countries, the prices in-app may be different and are customized for each country’s exchange rate.

Why don't you offer discounts prices like other apps?

For people who can’t afford the cost, we have a simple Basics tier that provides the essential trackers. For everyone else, we recommend joining G1.

Paying the regular price actually creates more accountability, promoting daily usage of the app and actually getting the benefits. Based on our early data and psychological studies, people with reduced pricing can actually see reduced benefit.

In the early days, we experimented with sales. But they are kind of like junk food... It feels good at the moment, but isn't healthy for anyone in the long term.

One study (done in 2005 by Shiv, Carrnon and Ariely), gave some people a power drink that was $2.89. Others got a discounted version of the same exact drink, but it was only 89 cents. Then they got a puzzle solving test. The people who had the premium drink and didn’t get a discount performed better on the mental tasks. Unexpected insight:The brain performs differently when paying for a premium product and a discounted version may actually be worse.

We have done significant testing to find the best business model, which not only provides the best privacy but the best results for our members. Plus, it isn't really compatible with our privacy-focused and sustainable business model, where each member pays for their share of the expenses and funds the app development.
