How much does AI cost?
Gyroscope AI costs less than $1/day, with a discount for quarterly membership. You can pay month to month or quarterly, and there is no long term commitment needed.
If you upgrade on the website, it is $29.99 USD per month. In the app, the pricing may vary depending on your region.
How can I switch from Pro or OS to AI?
If you are already on the classic Pro plan or the base OS tier, you can upgrade to AI any time. Your previous payments will be prorated and applied to your new membership.
You should check if you subscribed through Apple in the App Store, or through our website. If you subscribed online, you can upgrade from this page. If you did it through the app previously, you can subscribe on this page OR subscribe in app to switch plans.
If you change your Apple subscription through the App Store, the time remaining on your previous subscription will be refunded when the new one is started. Please note that we don’t have any control over the billing in the App Store.
When you upgrade on the website, 1% of your purchase will also go towards removing CO2 from the atmosphere.

How do I use the food tracking?
Like all the other Gyroscope trackers (Places, Sleep, Mood, etc.), it is very easy to use and designed to collect maximum data with minimum effort
Just take photos of everything that you eat, and then you will be able to select the nutrients from a food database in the app. If you don’t want to analyze your food (it does take some time), you will still automatically see your fasting and eating times — or upgrade to X to have a nutrition team analyze the food for you.

What devices do I need?
The Places tracking and mood tracking works with your phone without needing any wearables! Gyroscope can work with just your phone, since most of the experience is in the app and using your camera.
If you had to have just one device, we recommend having a weight scale to have a feedback loop of how your bodyfat levels are changing.
Two of the most popular AI features are: the food tracking (which just needs a phone with a camera, literally all android and iPhones these days), and the meditations in app.
Beyond that, an Apple Watch or Oura ring is recommended for gathering resting heart rate and HRV data, which helps make the health score much more accurate. However, that shouldn’t delay you from getting started — even just tracking your food and steps will certainly get you life-changing results.
Do I need an Apple Watch?
We highly recommend having an Apple Watch for the best Gyroscope experience. It will make it much easier to track your sleep, stress levels, workouts, and more, giving your coach more data to provide insights. However, it is not strictly necessary.
You can always add one later, and get started with the built-in trackering like Places, Mood, Food and Sleep, all from within the app with just your phone.
Many other heart rate monitors like Oura, Fitbit, Garmin, etc. can also work great with Gyroscope!
Can Gyroscope AI help me lose weight?
Yes. The Gyroscope platform has been designed to get you to your goal body composition using the latest scientific principles. Not only will you reach your goal weight, but we will set you up with the lifelong habits and skills to maintain it forever.
What if I dont want to lose weight?
That is fine too. Behind the scenes, our goal is to improve metabolic health and improve longevity. Fixing obesity is just one of the manifestations of that (the most common one we mention, since over 60% of Americans are currently overweight), but the same tools (like sleeping better, managing stress, staying active, eating nutritous food, etc.) are equally valuable for people who are underweight or happy with their bodyfat.
