Food Analyst

Gyroscope is a nutrition and health coaching app. Users who pay for a membership in our XRAY and Coach tiers receive guidance based on their personal data analytics, especially for nutrition.

To calculate these analytics and have accurate data, users have pictures of their food professionally analyzed! This is a huge value item, as they no longer have to manually enter their own food on other apps where the info is often wrong. We are able to identify their blind spots, whether that be hidden calories in cooking oils or incorrect portion sizes.

Food analysts work from their phones in-app using a built-in database to correctly estimate nutrition information on clients' food photos. This nutrition information includes macronutrients, micronutrients, calories, and portion sizes.

If you’ve ever used MyFitnessPal or a similar app to track your food, this is a similar experience — but for other people’s food.

Traditional tracking involves education, skills, time, and energy from the user to track their food correctly. This leaves too much room for error with variations in portion sizes and personal bias, leaving users perplexed about their lack of progress. Our tracking utilizes knowledgeable, highly skilled and thoroughly trained individuals (you!) to estimate food contents for the busy members who still need to balance work with wellness.
