The newest Gyroscope V10.11 is now available for download in the App Store.

This update is about the first minute of your morning. You wake up, open the app, and your Sleep Score should already be there: computed, correct, and telling you something you can use tonight.

Most of this release went into making that moment fast and dependable. The rest builds around the same morning: what you ate before bed, how you used your phone, and how the whole week added up.

Thank you to everyone who wrote in after 10.10. Most of what's in this version came directly from those reports.

The Sleep report broken into its layers: the score ring, the plain-language read of the night, the signal tiles and the insights

Sleep: three times faster, there every morning

The Sleep Score is the first thing most members check, so we rebuilt how it loads. The score and full report now compute about three times faster on the first open of the day.

Saving a night either finishes or tells you exactly why it couldn't, instead of leaving a spinner running. And when a wearable syncs late or incomplete, Gyroscope notices and pulls the missing HRV from Garmin or Oura on its own, so far fewer mornings start with "no data yet."

Sleep also reads from more devices now: Apple Watch, Oura, Whoop, Garmin and Fitbit can all feed the report.

If you work nights or sleep during the day, turn on nonstandard sleep in Sleep settings. Your main sleep is no longer split across two dates, and the score reads your actual sleep window.

A short night: Sleep Score 76 with heart rate, HRV, oxygen, breathing and temperature, and what to do about it
A short night reads differently from a strong one. The report says which, and why.

The report goes well beyond the score: heart rate, HRV, oxygen, breathing, temperature and the timing of your first REM, each compared with your own nights instead of a population average.

Nutrition before sleep

Your evening shows up in your night. A late meal keeps digestion running past bedtime, and caffeine can still be active hours after you stop feeling it.

The sleep report already explains which signals helped or hurt the night. Now it reads your meals the same way: your last meal, how long digestion had to finish before bed, and whether that timing suited your sleep, with the meals themselves on the night's timeline.

Nutrition Before Sleep: last meal at 6:45pm, digestion done by 8pm, asleep by 9:33pm

Each morning ends with a short list for tonight: keep the early bedtime, cut caffeine earlier, end computer work sooner. The suggestions come from your own data, not a generic cutoff. Nutrition Before Sleep is included in Gyroscope One.

Phone time, for everyone

We've been testing phone time with early members for the past month, and now it's available to everyone, on every plan.

Yesterday's total, the hour-by-hour pattern, pickups, notifications and minutes per app show up in the same morning report as your sleep and steps. Importing takes one tap, you see a private preview before anything is saved, and any app can become its own Trend.

The new Weekly Review

Every Monday a review is waiting in History: what actually changed this week, card by card. Your training mix, a meal spotlight, work tools, your city rhythm, a note from your coach, and a pop quiz to see how well you know your own week. Get the quiz right and you earn bonus tokens.

Weekly Review pop quiz: which place became your most frequent outside-home stop?

Every card in the weekly and monthly reviews can be exported as an image, ready to save or share.

History picked up a time machine too: jump back to the same day a year ago, your birthday, or last Christmas, and see your whole record since you started tracking.

More control over Places

When two stops blur into one visit, drag the split handles on the timeline to separate them. The map shows the raw GPS trail behind the decision.

When a whole day came in wrong, recalculate it: the new AI place engine re-reads the trail, proposes the visits and the travel between them, and you confirm, edit or retry each step. Custom places, visit radius and a tracking status screen round it out.

Split visits and day recalculation are included in Gyroscope One.

Notifications, rebuilt

Push notifications now run on infrastructure built directly on Apple's push service, so fewer reminders arrive late or not at all.

The settings were rebuilt around one question: how much coaching do you want? Pick a pace from rarely to all day, or switch on Do Not Disturb, then choose exactly what the app may notify you about, from coach messages to when a new weekly report is ready.

Ask your coach in chat for a reminder and it arrives at the time you asked.

And dozens of smaller things

  • Choose how strict your coach is, how deep the science goes, and how often it messages you
  • The food camera works offline: photos save to your phone instantly and upload when you're back
  • Sleep signals and Places now read in your language, with dozens of new languages this release
  • Notification, email and account settings now live on gyrosco.pe as well as in the app
  • Sign up and log in with a one-time code sent to your email
  • A calendar view in Habits to see your routine across the month
  • A disk-full check so a full phone never breaks a sync
  • Faster launches and smoother scrolling
  • Crash and sync fixes from your reports

How to get it
